Why We Care.
Drew is innocent. He did not commit murder. It was self defense. He was trying to defend himself from attack by a pack of drunken, aggressive UC Berkeley frat boys.
Why Is Justice 4 Drew Important?
In America, there should be "equal justice". We are all legally allowed to protect ourselves. A pack of UC frat boys should not be given special status and permitted to attack people in the streets. Frats do not control the public sidewalk. A pack of black boys or Hispanic boys are called gangs and subject to severe punishment.
Drew should not be punished for defending himself. We support Drew because he was wrongfully convicted.

What Happened?
Drew's Conviction Was Unjust and Wrong.
On May 3, 2008, Drew and his friend Adam were attacked and beaten in a dark parking lot. A CT Scan taken of Drew's brain showed unequivocally that Drew had brain swelling from being kicked and hit in the head. His body showed kick marks, scrapes, and clear signs of attack.
Members of Sigma Pi admitted that there were 10-12 people against Drew and his one friend Adam. The uncontradicted testimony was that the parking lot was crowded and many people were fighting. If 10-12 people are all on one side, it's clear that it was 12 against 2.
California law permits anyone to defend himself from attack. Self-defense is not murder. The judge prevented the jury from hearing all the evidence of Drew's attacker's history of drunken violence
Drew's conviction of 2nd degree murder is unjust and wrong.
